The Kelly Library can help clarify the Copyright Act of Canada, ensuring material is compliant and seeking copyright permissions for material that goes beyond Fair Dealing, as well as locating alternate sources when permissions cannot be obtained.

Copyright modules: Copyright for Teaching and Learning Activities

Copyright Modules provide faculty, students and staff with a general overview of copyright through seven short, self-directed instructional training sessions. These modules will help ensure your professional activities comply with Canadian copyright law. 

Copyright Roadmap

The Copyright Roadmap helps you decide how to select and potentially copy material for teaching and research activities. This roadmap is also available as an interactive e-learning module. In addition to the roadmap, the Copyright Roadmap Course Modules are available to any U of T community member through Quercuscourse enrolment is not required.
